Altiplano pet portraits: I recently had the pleasure of photographing Mini and Tori, they came along to the studio for their first shoot, Mini is about to have pups and her owner wanted some images before the big day. Both were absolutely good as gold under the lights and bursting with energy! Photographing dogs in the studio is very different to outdoor lifestyle shoots, as the photographer it is my job to capture expressions, profiles and portraits that the owner will love and want to display in their home. Mini and Tori are certainly very expressive and soon got used to the camera as well as the big 70-200mm lens (I can’t tell you how small these two are although you can probably guess by one of the names!)
Studio sessions are great if you need an indoor portrait, your dog(s) also have ample space to run around as our studio is inside a new warehouse on the outskirts of Orce village, there is also plenty to explore inside! For those that need a little more journey time in the car to get here there is also plenty of space and nearby woodland to exercise your dog before the shoot where we will then have a proper meet and greet. You can find the IRMAC warehouse studio at Nave 3, Poligono Industrial La Tarquina, ORCE 18858, Granada.
