Youtube is a social platform that I have used for a few years now – mainly for our main business, about a year ago I created a channel for IRMAC Photography, a place to throw on a few bits and pieces from Spanish fiestas and events from in and around Orce village. Having two camera bodies does offer the opportunity to shoot with one and record with the other so the trusty K30 now tends to be on video duty, positioned on a tripod overlooking whatever is going on.
More recently we have been shooting in the studio and I always enjoy covering ‘behind the scenes’, turning a couple of hours into a few minutes of time-lapse. Ok, its not pro video (far from it!) but Youtube is great as a platform to host these brief behind the scenes vids and it also shows a little transparency in what we do – taking the photo shoot below, not every parent could make it so a video posted online (permission and model releases of course) at least gives a brief inside look at how things happened.
So the channel covering behind the scenes and videos de Orce in general can be found right here. Don’t get me wrong I am no modern age ‘Youtuber’ but if you are from Orce village or want a glimpse into what we do on location and in studio then give us a thumbs up and subscribe (¡Gracias!). Videos are published as and when (expect more during fiesta season) and include time-lapse, live performance and a handful of slideshows.
